Ok what i want to do is ad a frame.. like the one when u do an image search on google the image stays on top and then the rest of the webpage is at the bottom... the reason i wanan do this is because i want to add music to my webpage.. but i cannot do this by puting a media player on the site because when someone clicks on a link the music will stop and play again.. so it will kinda be stupid... so i found this way of having a top frame on the bloggie and putting the media player there, and when someone clicks on the page the frame wont disappear or nothing just stay there , kinda like google image search. well is there any way i can do this? and what file do i have to edit? thanks alot. Very Happy

I have a question. Are you looking for something like:
http://www.canad1an.com/blog

I have a music player on top, which does not change as pages are loaded?

Ok this is rather simple.
First thing to do:

1. Create or edit a file called '.htaccess' in your mybloggie directory.
If created, Chmodd to "644" (default), anyway.
If it was created, add this code to the top:
Code:
DirectoryIndex main.php

If you already had a file called that, just modify that line with the line I had above.

2. Make a file called 'main.php' in mybloggie root directory. And open it for editing. Add the following code to it.

Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html dir="ltr" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-EU" lang="en-EU">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Style-Type" content="text/css" />
<title>YOURWEBSITE's Blog </title>
</head>

<center>
<frameset rows="3%,97%" frameborder=0>

  <frame src="YOURLINK.php" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
  <frame src="index.php">
<noframes>
<body>Your browser does not
handle frames! Go <a href="http://www.YOURWEBSITE.com/blog/index.php">here</a> To view the Blog without frames.</body>
</noframes>
</frameset>
</center>
</body>
</html>

Everything in caps needs to be changed. You can even change the format if you want. Anyway, have fun!
